<li>Set gallery hours in consultation with Archie and Elaine; post any changes online promptly.</li>
<li>Schedule all attendants, including the student position, ensuring every open hour is covered.</li>
<li>Refer to the staffing spreadsheet to track and coordinate shifts.</li>
<li>Stay informed about events at the hall and confirm whether the Alliance is participating.</li>
<li>Come in at least once a week to check on things or cover a shift.</li>

<h2>Staff Support & Training</h2>

<li>Help train the student attendant and all gallery volunteers in gallery procedures and expectations.</li>
<li>Ensure all staff and volunteers represent the Alliance professionally and treat artists' work with respect.</li>
<li>Serve as a primary point of contact for staff if they encounter any difficulties.</li>

<h2>Artwork Intake</h2>

<li>Require each artist to provide a numbered inventory list when delivering work. Each entry must include: title, description, dimensions, medium, price, and contact information.</li>
<li>File all inventory lists in the binder kept at the gallery.</li>
<li>Verify that all work has proper hanging hardware. The preferred system is wire affixed to two hooks — nothing flimsy.</li>
<li>Have each artist sign the damage waiver before work is accepted.</li>
<li>Coordinate and document any artist-initiated work swaps.</li>
<li>Complete an incident report if damage to any work occurs.</li>
</ul>

<li>Submit a brief daily tally report at the end of each shift.</li>
<li>Maintain an ongoing understanding of sales trends — which artists and works are selling over time.</li>

<li>Contribute to developing gallery procedures and documentation as the role evolves.</li>
